[Update] The hostel management responded to my issues in less than an hour. They put shampoo and body wash in the shower, replaced the hair dryer. On the way out, they told me the housekeeper had been suspended for 15 days and apologized for the inconvenience. That's great service and we do appreciate the prompt response! --------------------------------- Stayed here 4 nights in a private room. We kept wondering why this hostel got really high rating. Pros: - Great location, near by a lot of things so very convenient - Clean (for the most part) - The room is spacious - Give you a bottle of water each day Cons: - The bed is hard like a rock. It's very uncomfortable and hurt sleeping on it. - When I used the bathroom, 95% of the time I'd walk into a toilet that had poop or pee. I don't understand why. - The hairdryer doesn't work and half of it is deformed, the front is melted. I don't think it's safe to use it. - The sink is partially clogged => dirty - No shampoo or body wash in the shower - Their free breakfast is just sandwich bread and jam.

We stayed here for just 2 nights but would have happily stayed longer. The room was spacious. The shared bathrooms were some of the nicest facilities we've come across in our travels through SE Asia so far. They were cleaned regularly and in really good condition. The breakfast was a nice addition also. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. We booked tours, taxis and buses through them. The location was great also. I'd highly recommend staying here.

We stayed in a private room with shared bathroom. It was very good value for money, the accommodation was clean, and in a good location. The only criticisms are that the mattress was really hard (the most firm we've come across in Thailand) and the rooms weren't well sound proofed (the person in the room next to us was sick and we could hear them coughing a lot).

The hostel was very good, everything was very clean and very modern. The staff was also very helpful when checking in and recommending things to do around the city. Only downsized for me were that lockers aren’t that big and the curtains don’t block the light but other than that all good! Toilets aren’t inside the room so they’re shared with all the floor but there were always showers and toilets available so it wasn’t an issue

Very friendly and super helpful staff- they offered great recommendations and helped us book tours. They truly helped us have a wonderful visit to Chiang Rai. Comfortable room, great bathrooms, the whole place was very comfortable and had a lot of great amenities (espresso coffee, toast breakfast, soap in showers, water for free). The price was great too! I highly recommend this place and would happily stay again!

Honestly one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Air con is great, the rooms get pitch dark, beds are so comfy. And the staff are so great. Always helpful with a smile on their face. They are great at what they do. 100000000/10 Would recommend
